Coriander & Mint Chutney

A simple but popular Indian chutney, ideal for spooning onto those pappadums or for serving with samosas.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of coriander leaves
  • 1 bunch of mint leaves
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Wash the coriander and mint bunches thoroughly and take away the leaves from the stems: don't go crazy picking leaves off, it doesn't matter if you just strip the thicker and more obvious stems away. Throw the leaves into the whizzer along with the salt, lemon, chillies and a little water - then whizz away!
