Vinaigrette

There is much discussion and no little dissent regarding the ‘proper’ way to make vinaigrette. This is how I do it, for what it’s worth.

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, halved

Shake it up or whisk it just before serving: drizzle on the salad and/or toss.
